Grateful thanks to Monsignor O'Sullivan for the uplifting funeral Mass, to Joan of McIntyre Funeral Directors for sensitively making the arrangements and to Evelyn at the Westlands Hotel for her hospitality. We also would like to thank all the friends, colleagues and medical staff who helped Peter throughout his long illness. Special thanks go to the carers, nursing and medical staff at the Dunblane Medical Practice, Strathcarron Hospice and Marie Curie Cancer Care who made possible his wish to remain at home and who helped keep him comfortable during his final days. The funeral collection raised £1000 for Strathcarron Hospice and £600 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
